Those are all good points. I guess I enjoyed Guardians enough to overlook the fact that Ronan was underwritten, but I will admit he’s one of the weaker ones in the stable. Fingers crossed we’ll get more development for him since he’s appearing in Captain Marvel.

Yes, Hans Landa is a great villain that’s very simply written! I love Inglorious Basterds, especially his performance!

They definitely could have done more with Kaecilius as well, but having a great actor like Mads Mikkelson in the role definitely boosted his character, as did Cate Blanchett in the role of Hela.

It is an odd choice to strand Hela with very few characters to interact with for most of the movie, but I thought she was a strong villain in her own right. She brought to light a lot of Odin’s faults and I thought brought some of the only gravity to a movie that verged on being almost too light-hearted for the story they were telling. That being said, I agree that the Warriors Three did not get the impactful end they deserved, which was a poor choice.
